A Vision That Continues Growing

ROOTED IN PURPOSE

Connecting Hands began in 1999 from Michelle Townsend’s work with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Today, the agency helps adults live with greater choice, confidence, and participation in their communities. If you are seeking services or referrals, reach out to us today.

Creating More Possibilities Every Day

EVERYDAY LIFE MATTERS

The right services can make everyday routines, decisions, and community involvement more manageable. Connecting Hands values personal choice, consistency, dignity, and practical guidance, helping each individual strengthen useful skills, navigate daily responsibilities, and take an active role in the life they choose.

Guided By What Matters Most

PEOPLE AT THE CENTER

Our commitment is rooted in seeing each person’s strengths, preferences, goals, and potential. Connecting Hands works to create opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities to live confidently and safely, make personal choices, build meaningful connections, and participate more fully within their communities each day.

Our Mission

Connecting Hands Supported Living Agency exists to empower individuals with developmental disabilities to live independently, confidently, and safely in their own homes. We provide personalized support that honors choice, encourages growth, and promotes meaningful community participation.
